Press conference to be held at FL Wildlife Commission meeting that will decide fate of panthers and bears

A coalition of environmental organizations and animal rights groups will speak out to condemn the State's proposals to allow renewed hunting of Florida black bears, restrict the range and recovery of the Florida panther, and lease portions of Florida's state parks for cattle grazing, timber harvesting, hunting and  other revenue-generating purposes.   The press conference will take place just prior to the Florida Wildlife Commission meeting that will include decisions on the panther and black bear proposals.
