Tampa Bay Times: Need to Overhaul the Way Florida Regulates Utilities

Today's Tampa Bay Times includes a thoughtful editorial focusing on the need to overhaul the way Florida regulates utilities.
As the Times notes, power companies have a deal most businesses in Florida would love: profit and a monopoly in their region. But when Duke Energy is poised to collect over $3 billion from the ratepayers despite its own mistakes, it's either time for the Public Service Commission to hold them accountable or be held accountable themselves.  Read the full opinion piece here:
